Duration: 12 Months
Study National Diploma in Wealth Management. This programme is targeted at individuals who wish to pursue a career in the financial services covering sectors like long-term and short-term insurance, investments, retirement funds, medical insurance and wealth creation and management.
The aim of this programme is to provide participants with a thorough understanding of the role of financial services in society, the context within which they operate, and the operating principles and approaches which have become best practice for the sector. A secondary objective is for learners to develop the technical skills required to succeed in the sector, including communication and sales skills and administration.
National Certificate Wealth Management, SAQA ID 57608 is SAQA registered and is recognized by the Financial Services Board. GTIB has been accredited by INSETA to deliver this qualification.
This qualification is set at Level 5 on the National Qualifications Framework. Minimum entrance requirements include a Senior Certificate or higher, or any combination of competencies obtained in the Further Education and Training band equivalent to an NQF Level 4 qualification. Individuals who have a degree in business or commerce or another related field may apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) to be granted credits for the foundational modules.
For full time students the programme is completed over 12 months. Students attend classes for six hours per week.
